Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Casual Print Assistant and Packer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their photo prints in pristine condition. Your primary responsibility will be to carefully pack printed photos according to specific orders, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
Opportunities to further learn and develop skills for print production (software and printers) and product design exist for the right candidate, leading to additional hours and a part time role.
About the Role
This is a casual role at our Port Melbourne office, working with a friendly and supportive team
Must be available between the hours of 9am – 3pm. (Mon-Fri)
Packing photos for Schools, Kinders and Sports
Set up of jobs as per packing procedures
Quality control checks on worked packed
Completion of paperwork for jobs packed
Preparing jobs for delivery
Liaising with Packing Manager
Stock control, proofing & customer service
Unloading /unpacking pallets
Opportunities to learn & develop software and print lab skills
About you
The ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines under pressure in a busy work environment
Must be able to stand for long periods of time & be able to lift boxes
Great computer skills with design skills looked at favourably
Photography experience looked at favourably
Attention to detail at a fast pace
Team Player
Flexibility, punctuality and reliability
An enthusiastic and friendly personality and a "can do" attitude
Must have a current Working with Children's Check (WWCC) or willingness to apply (employee, not volunteer)
